Always
Through good times and laughter,
Trial and tears,
You've always been there,
Down through the years.
We've shared our misfortune,
Our hopes and our dreams,
Together we've been through,
A lot it seems.
You've been a good mate,
As well as a friend,
And if our time together,
On earth should now end.
Please have no regrets,
Remember our love,
Was destined by God,
Ordained from above.
I'll always love you,
Regardless of time,
I'll always be yours,
You'll always be mine.
Angel Fair
When God comes to take me home
I hope he sends an angel fair,
With rosy cheeks and snow white wings,
And silky, shiny angel hair.
Perhaps she'll walk down on a rainbow,
And offer me her hand.
Then lead me back to Heaven,
To that precious promised land.
My son, my mom, my dad I'll meet,
So happy we'll all be.
To see each other once again,
And to sit at Jesus' feet.
Til then I'll be content to wait,
For rain and sun and rainbows fair,
And watching over me will be,
Someone with silky, shiny angel hair.

A Priceless Gift
I have nothing to give to you,
So to you, I'll give a smile.
Now, put it there upon your face,
And wear it for a while.
Just pass the smile to someone else,
As you go along your way,
Perhaps it will help that one,
And brighten up their day.
Then that one soul will pass it on,
To someone that they meet.
At school, at home, at work or play,
Or maybe on the street.
You see this gift is priceless,
Even though it's free.
Perhaps as I go on my way,
It will come back to me.

Beauty
Some say that I'm beautiful,
When the sun shines on my hair,
Some say that I'm pretty,
Because my skin is oh so fair.
Some say that my beauty,
Shows within my eyes of blue,
Some say beauty isn't how you look,
But is seen in things you do.
Somehow it doesn't matter,
What others eyes may see,
I know that I am beautiful,
When he looks at me.

Little Baby
Little baby, soft and sweet,
Dimpled chin and little feet,
Little miracle that you are,
You have made my life complete.
I will watch you as you grow,
Seeds of goodness , I will sow,
I will wish the best for you,
But one day, I must let you go.
You will grow, become a man,
Be the very best you can,
I will be here if I’m needed,
Just reach out and take my hand.
One day I will call for you,
When my life on earth is through,
Hold my hand and be there with me,
Remember all I've tried to do.
Perhaps a father you will be,
And a baby soft and sweet,
Will come to you one fine day,
With dimpled chin and little feet,
And will make your life complete.

My Dream
Little cabin in the woods,
Come to me in my dream,
Let me walk beside the stream,
Hear the little bluebird sing.
Lying on a bed of clover,
Looking at the clear blue sky,
As the clouds go rolling by,
I think this is how I'd like to die.
Days of sitting in the sun,
Writing words upon the page,
Living each and every day,
Quietly, in my own way.
Perhaps this is just a dream,
A little bit of heaven spent,
A gift that God has sent,
To somehow make my life content.

Christmas
Snowflakes are falling
Sleigh bells are ringing
Children are laughing
Carolers are singing
Icicles glistening
Trees are all white
All year we've waited
For this special night
Something so magic
Appears in the air
Somehow we find peace
And love everywhere
Our hearts somehow lighter
Our cares disappear
Our outlook is brighter
This one day of the year
As we think of it's meaning
The birth of God's son
The promises given
Because of this One
The gifts are all passed
The day comes to an end
We say goodbye
To our family and friends
In the quiet of the night
Snowflakes fall from above
We look up to Heaven
And thank God for His Love.

Mary Cried
A little baby child was born,
She felt such joy inside.
She looked upon his sweet, sweet face,
And Mary cried.
She watched the little boy grow strong,
As everything he tried,
Such love she felt as she watched him play,
And Mary cried.
He grew to be a special man,
So many he would guide,
God had a plan for him she knew,
And Mary cried.
How could she bear to let him go,
Her feelings she must hide.
No turning back, the time was soon.
And Mary cried.
There he was upon the cross,
She could not close her eyes,
One last time she looked at him,
And Mary cried.
To the tomb she ran to see,
She sat there for a while.
His body gone, he had gone home.
And Mary smiled.

When We Dance
When we're dancing,
And you hold me close,
That's when I feel,
Your love the most.
You close your eyes,
I sing to you,
The room is full,
But it's just us two.
As the music plays on,
There's nothing as sweet,
As the touch of your face,
Caressing my cheek.
Our life is a dance,
And onward it goes,
Sometimes it's fast,
Sometimes it's slow,
As time spins on by,
And our days become few,
I hope that I'll have,
My last dance with you.

Walkin The Dog
Exercise is fun they say,
And will melt the fat away.
Aerobics is the thing to do,
Deep knee bends and sit-ups too.
In your tights, you'll look so cute,
Head bands, Nikes, work out suit.
To the "Y" or to the gymn,
Run the track or take a swim.
Good advice I know I'm givin'.
But may not be the life I'm livin'.
You know I would rather be,
Typin' here on my PC.
But I'll try to do what's right,
And take a stroll most every night.
Walkin' the dog, could be fun.
Just DON'T expect me to RUN!!!

I Just Love To Dance
Come dance with me, Move your feet,
Let your body go, Feel the beat.
Holding me close, Two become one,
Like making love, It's so much fun.
Let the music play, We're lovin' every song,
We'll dance every dance, Til the night is gone.
Of all the things, In the world to do,
I just love to dance, And to be with You!
